Since yesterday I`ve had no sound on BBC 1 hd,anyone else got the same issue? Can`t see any information on Virgin`s web page except an issue with Poldark on demand. Other HD channels are fine such as ITV but haven`t tried them all so maybe others are `soundless`too?

There's no fault ticket logged, so it's probably just you. Check some of the other HD channels - ITV HD is bad one to choose because it doesn't have Dolby audio unlike most HD channels.
Try rebooting the TiVo for starters. Also check the Dolby setting is still correct. Occasionally settings have been known to change by themselves.
I have fixed the problem now. My partner had altered the sound settings on the television to try and get a better sound and had set the television sound to Dolby. It was previously on Stereo so I switched it back and all is fine now. Thanks spiderplant and Hugh for taking the trouble to respond.
