Sky News on ipad?

I have an iphone 4 and have the Sky News app that works with no fuss. Today I bought a new ipad air and got the Sky News app for it but it wants to link it to a Sky account as it asks for your Sky account number.

Now how do I do this as I am a VM customer?

Or is it safe to say it aint gonna work

Re: Sky News on ipad?

It's bizarre how TV companies seem to think it's good PR to charge you to view something on one particular platform that's free to view elsewhere. ITV tried this when they relaunched their catch-up app. They made ITV3 and 4 subscription only. There was something of a backlash and they eventually backed down.

Re: Sky News on ipad?

It is a rip off. However the Sky Sports app allows you to sign in with a VM account.
