HTC One M8 huge problems

Sat watching Netflix in bed on my M8 and it randomly returns me to the Netflix home screen. I press play and it does it again. Repeat for 5-6 times. Go to browser only to find I can't type and it's just refreshing the page over and over again. Bluetooth and other peripherals activate with no key presses. I've literally lost complete control of the device. Rebooting has done nothing. Although it booted in literally a second from power on to homescreen which was usually at least a 6-7 boot previously.

No water damage to report
No fall damage to report.

I'm at a loss. Running stock 4.4.2 HTC 6.0

I've already RTMd one of these for the microphone problems they're plagued with. This is getting ridiculous.
