touchpad driver

hi all
i recently replaced a mother board on a fujitsu li1718.
its up and running but the touchpad has some probs.

the left mouse button doesnt work, and double tapping on the touch pad doesnt work.

ive swapped the left/right handed in the properties but again only the right button works.

ive tried a few different drivers bu cant seem to find a correct one, i have the original discs but there not on it, does anyone know which is the correct driver syn0305.
thanks

Re: touchpad driver

The left button not working can't be a driver issue, sounds more like you wired it up wrong.

Re: touchpad driver

There's more than one conductor though, and it's commonplace to damage one line or have a connector that's not seated or contacting properly.

Re: touchpad driver

Syn... could that be Synaptics?

http://www.synaptics.com/en/drivers.php

The generic Synaptics driver usually works pretty well with any Synaptics based pad.

Re: touchpad driver

Not that it'll help but a quick google turned up:

http://www.driversguru.com/hardwareid-_--SYN0305

(And it's still not going to be a driver issue)
