TiVo : Sound problem with Tivo box.

I have a Optical cable running from my Tivo box to a soundbar and the sound does not match up with what is showing on screen.

its out by a little bit and makes it hard watching it so have turned off the soundbar and gone back to watching it with sound coming from TV not my box.

i have looked in the sound settings on my box and can not find anything that can solve the problem.

so what can i do and what causes it?

is it a box issue?

i have tried changing the channel then going back to the one i was watching but still with the same problem.

The problem is almost certainly your TV, not the soundbar or TiVo. The TV is delaying the pictures, but the soundbar isn't delaying the sound.

Does your TV have an optical output? If so, try connecting the soundbar to that instead.

If that doesn't fix it, try changing the TV settings. Turn off any "enhancements" such as high frame rates, and try changing any settings such 'film mode' or 'game mode'.
