PANASONIC DECT Phone Compability with each other? Help please community.

Hi folks

I have a Panasonic DECT answerphone KX-TCD545EM and a Panasonic DECT Cordless KX-TCA154EM (which are connected to each other) but the latter cordless doesn't work very well and crackles at the moment...people tell me, so I just wondered if I could buy a KX-TG6713EB cordless handset (which is currently on offer) to replace this one and if I could then link these cordless phones (I want to buy 2 of these) to my main Panasonic DECT answerphone as above??

Basically, is Panasonic KX-TCD545EM and KX-TCA154EM, compatible with Panasonic KX-TG6713EB?

Would appreciate your feedback at your earliest as offer runs out midnight tonight!

Kind regards
CL

Re: PANASONIC DECT Phone Compability with each other? Help please community.

If they are both "GAP standard" then they should be compatible, at least for registering to a base unit and making calls. GAP even works across different BRANDS.

KX-TG6713EB - is GAP compatible
KX-TCD545EM - is GAP
KX-TCA154EM - is GAP
So basic compatibility should be there - advanced features like SMS, don't know!

I've just swapped our original Panasonic quad set as the keypads on all of the phones started to become unresponsive and gradually got so bad we decided to replace them. I love the phones but am hoping the set they've been replaced with will last a bit longer.
