No progress bar on recorded programs
Just noticed that there is no progress bar when play button pressed on recorded program. Also when watching live tv, normally pressing ok button will display current channel details. That not showing either. Any one else noticed it and why?
thanks

Re: No progress bar on recorded programs
Thanks. Sorted it. Must be something to do with bbc red button. Went to guide, selected bbc1, all ok ( display channels etc). Selected red button, then tv. Back to bbc1 ok, but no channel info displayed. Repeated guide etc, all ok.

Re: No progress bar on recorded programs
Curious. What are the exact steps you are using to recreate this? Is it:
101
OK (works)
Wait for display to clear
Red
Wait for BBC app to load
TV
OK (doesn't work)

Re: No progress bar on recorded programs
TiVo seems to need regularly powering up and down. As well as its bugs it seems too get very slow if left on for weeks. Both the VHD and Sky boxes are lightning quick in comparison.
Hope any future updates will concentrate on speeding the thing up rather than adding further 'functionality' and pointless apps which nobody uses. Most people just want to record TV programmes and quickly access them.

Re: No progress bar on recorded programs
You may need to change your TiVo - I have had mine since not long after launch, and I have had to power it down twice in all that time when it got a bit confused....

Re: No progress bar on recorded programs
Mmmm. I only really had an issue recently when it started to do blank recordings. Rebooting fixed it, but I also noticed the speed increased greatly after rebooting too. Still far from quick though, I'm often several button pushes ahead on the remote.

I'd echo Hugh - I don't recognise any of what you're saying, I'd report a fault if I were you.
