My guess and it is a guess, you may have had 3 planned recordings. ITV is catch up TV and requires a tuner (the ITV player has been removed from TiVo). Unlike the BBCi player (iTunes and other apps) which are broadband based on TiVo and don't require a tuner.

If the above doesn't fit, then I'm sorry I've got no idea!

Re: catch-up TV help

Catch-up (on V-box SD) has been VERY glitchy lately, can't get through a half hour program without several stalls - and unlike "buffering" it just drops the bit it missed, unless you slam pause the moment it freezes.

Really could not recommend that part of the service at the moment - and not very helpful about it on 150 - it's "not guaranteed" and "its provided by the broadcaster".

Oh, and the usual 1st stop technical advice. Switch your box off, wait 30 seconds and switch it on again. You'd be surprised how many problems a reboot can actually resolve!

Not such a good idea if you're currently recording something though

I love Cable Forum where you can ask for help with a question like this and nobody makes a cheeky remark about the show you were trying to watch!

Honestly, I’d be a liar if I said I wasn't tempted!

why don't virgin have ITV channel 4 demand five players as apps like BBCi player which are broadband based on TiVo and don't require a tuner?

ITV/ch4/ch5 haven't provided standalone apps for Tivo. It was the BBC's choice to do it the way they have.
