Why does the government waste taxpayers money and bring out tough new measures to stop immigration.

The UK Borders guys cannot cope with the current format, and the government have drastically cut down on officers.

According to figures, there are over 300.000 illegal immigrants that are in this country at the moment, so how can they make this scheme work.

All they have to do is to check EACH vehicle that comes into this country. Recently in a major newspaper a driver took photos of FOUR immigrants on the back of a lorry.

And totally close the borders to immigrants coming into the UK. They can do this. In Hounslow there is a prison near Heathrow just for immigrants that are being sent home - about four years ago l applied there for a job and didn't get it.

Before they waste taxpayers money on this scheme, they have to sort the first problem out first.

That might have a significant effect on tourism to the UK, and the jobs of airport workers, and airline workers. Oh and the NHS that relies on foreign nurses and doctors.

Unless of course you want people coming here legally to be tagged and delivered 50,000 volt shocks if they overstay in the country.

might be an idea to forget who was to blame as its in the past and look forward to who might be able to change things

People who overstay, enter illegally or abuse the visa system should, when caught get shipped back to their originating country ASAP, no appeal, no asylum seeking.

The same if they commit any crime while in this country

And the police should stop telling illegal immigrants to "report to the Home Office ASAP... now be on your way!"

There is one major problem, in this country IF someone is in this country illegally. They will go to a 'do gooder lawyer' get thousands of pounds of the taxpayer, defend that person - this can take up to TWO years to go through courts.

And at the end, will be allowed to stay. What the government MUST do is quite simple. IF you enter this country - then you will be sent straight back.

Yup. Strangely, Arthur has never has anything to say about that does he.
Whether it be illegal migrants or energy companies, Labour only ever seem to want to crack down when they're not in office...

Correct, the Police and the Home Office need to be locking them up until they can be shipped back to where they come from.

That`s the answer, politicians are all the same, just wear different badges, we need someone with guts to change things, we do need immigrants with skills, we don't need the unskilled, sick, or criminal immigrant. lets put our own needs first.

Bear in mind who put the current rules/regulations in place before deciding who to blame and who to vote for next time around. Bear in mind what they said at the time to those who dared to raise concerns as you consider what they're promising now as the election nears. Bear in mind that those responsible for signing away so many of our powers to Europe knew what the repercussions would be and went ahead anyway.

Remembering who was responsible does not solve the problems they created but it sure as hell means they're less likely to get away with it again...

Only a few immigrants.... but when we have over 1 million young people not working and people who are qualified but cannot get a job because a majority of companies always want experienced workers. Lets train or young folk up and give jobs to the qualified people to get that experience!
