Virgin Media, Trains & The Tube

For all you lot living in London with VM accounts you get free wifi on the Tube network, well in stations at least....For those of us who travel of Virgin Trains instead of the tube we have to pay for our wifi.

Does anyone know of any plans for Virgin Trains to allow VM customers to use the wifi on their trains for free, I know its a different company but it would fit with the Virign ethos if you ask me...

any thoughts?

Re: Virgin Media, Trains & The Tube

Pretty much every other train company does that too, and for non-Virgin customers as well.

Question is why do Virgin charge Virgin customers the same as everyone else, though admittedly free wifi on the tube is pretty much now free to anybody not just VM customers.

I used to be able to book my own travel and you could often get off-peak 1st class for less than standard class. We now have a corporate travel management advisoer who religously sticks to standrad class even if its dearer

Re: Virgin Media, Trains & The Tube

Virgin Trains Wi-Fi is the square-root of useless on the wcml. Why would anyone pay to be disconnected every 2 minutes?
