Re: What happened to Blighty?
It closed on all platforms for UKTV to launch Drama, though that is only confirmed for Sky and Freeview at the minute.

Re: What happened to Blighty?
Wasn't it originally UK Drama a few years ago?
UKTV seem to go through rather more rebrands than most.

Re: What happened to Blighty?
Perhaps it was UK Horizons then?
Either way, UK TV did have a 'drama' channel which they chose to call something else.
Maybe now UKTV are buying in more US/Canadian shows rather than relying on old BCC stuff, the balance is shifting back a bit?

Re: What happened to Blighty?
Originally there was UK Arena, which showed arts programming (bit BBC4-ish but on a negligible budget) which didn't get many viewers, then it became UK Drama, then UKTV Drama, then Alibi. They've already started adding more UKTV branding to their channels so it's definitely coming round in a circle. UKTV is a really terrible name though.
UK Horizons was the documentaries channel, which became UKTV Documentary and UKTV People, which became Eden and Blighty.
