Re: Package Help

The costs of Sky Sports & Movies can be found here (http://store.virginmedia.com/digital...ky-sports.html) and if you've had them for more than 30 days you should be able to cancel them.

As Devil has posted above, if you can give full details on what services you currently have, we will be better placed to offer advice.

Re: Package Help

In that case you should be able to drop Sky Premiums if you wish. Also one of the collections, such as Premiere, may be a better option for you going forward as you'll get a TiVo, check them out here (https://my.virginmedia.com/customer-...llections.html).

Hope this helps.

Re: Package Help

Thanks for your help, I called VM today, my XL pack with movies and sport cost me £86+ then will calls to mobiles that was another £20 a month. So I was anywhere between £95 to £110 a month, I took out Skysports and Movies guy said that would save me a £10 a month from my package - £86 down to £76 he also said as I was about £20 a month calling mobiles*, he said he could get me 1000 mins a month and that was £2 a month.

So I went for that, so I should save up to £30 a month as I wouldn't use that much in a month, so with sports and movies off = £76 and £2 extra for the 1000 mins i should see bills of £78 a month instead of £100+

* calls to mobiles is from my VM landline phone I don't have a VM mobile , I meant to ask him but he would have seen looking at my packages I don't have a VM mobile, but I meant to ask after looking at the VM site, if this 1000mins to mobiles was from my VM landline as I don't have a VM mobile.

Re: Package Help

Are you sure about the calls to mobiles? 1000 minutes for £2 is 0.2 pence per minute if my arithmetic is right.

Re: Package Help

I thought that myself , I called again for I thought that would be for a VM mobile but no its for my VM landline and its a 1000 mins a month. Guy I spoke to 1st time ( I already had talk unlimited ) he said it would be an extra £2 a month ? 2nd guy I spoke to , when I asked him if the package was through yet, said yes he checked the mins I had I thought it would be 1000 as I hadn't called a mobile yet, said I had 266 mins as my next 1000 mins would kick in 11th July. I asked about my landline calls, was this now part of the 1000 mins, he said no, landline calls were still the same, the 1000 mins were to use calling moblies in the UK.
