TiVo : Swopping boxes round.

We have a V+ box downstairs and a TiVo box upstairs.
Is it possible to swop these round and assume they will work without issue as I am aware about things like cable lengths around the house can cause issues.

I would imagine its because Tivo does more than just record, and it is worth noting that the Tivo "may not" work where the V+ was because from what I understand, it needs a more precise signal.

I swopped my V+ and Tivo around without a problem.
