How pathetic - Maddie Case

It makes my blood boil when you read things that people don't want this case solved and are not interested in the new focus.

Yes, children go missing everyday and sometimes it take not weeks not years but sometimes children are never found.

The Maddie case is unique - the McCanns won't give up looking for Madeline, and they now have help from Scotland Yard and have come up with clues - people say how can the British police solve a case in another country.

Maybe its because the Portuguese police are just sitting on their backside and believe in a liar of a police officer that framed a woman who is still in prison due to false allegations.

Maddie is somewhere - but no one has to bottle to tell the McCann if she is dead.

I am a parent - and l can assure you that l would do everything l could to find them if they went missing.

On the night she disappeared, there were so many things went wrong with the case by police. This is why l don't think the Portuguese police give a crap.

Phedo's were very active in the area and the police failed to stop it.

why were the parents not prosecuted for leaving the children on their own , I don't understand it , gross negligence at the very least.

Firstly I hope the McCanns get the answer they want. We all hope she is fine and alive...somewhere.

Secondly I hope the British Police (who generally get a bad press) get to show the rest of the world how such an investigation should be handled by nailing those responsible.

I just hope the British public have moved on from the "They shouldn't have left her alone" that was rallying around hysterically at the time of her dissapearance.

I hope for all sakes she is found.

Lets put it this way - when the McCann's went out to dinner, they was not far away from the room they were staying in. Also l am a parents, and have often left them alone, whilst asleep.

NO one expects that some idiot will come along and take a young girl from her bed.

As everyone has said that on the Island, it was well known for sex offenders to be on the resort. Several days later a well known BRITISH sex offender was found dead - press at the time believe that this was to keep him quiet.

I just hope and pray that if she was taken by sex offenders - then is NOT alive. As she would have been passed around like a piece of meat.

I hope she is with a family who 'ordered' her from a gang.

Some think that one or both of Maddie's parents were involved in her disappearance or possible death, either intentionally or accidental.

I agree with the few in this thread about her being dead. The Portuguese detective that was kicked off the case pretty much seems to have the entire case figured out. His book is an interesting read and highlights massive points that are kept quiet. I think the Portuguese would have cracked it if our police hadn't charged in on a white horse.

It would be an absolute disaster if the parents were now charged with murder or manslaughter after years of donations and media attention worldwide the backlash would be phenomenal. Now as more and more people read the detectives book she's suddenly front page news with an image of a man that likely doesn't exist.

I've said from the start the parents are involved somewhere. Wouldn't shock me if they were both arrested and charged.

Personally, sick of seeing and hearing about them all the time. She's dead.
