Virgin TV Guide iOS app

I've made use of the Virgin TV Guide iOS app this weekend to set up some recordings. I'm not currently minding that it will set the recordings up on all TiVo boxes as opposed to the Sky+ app requiring a box to be selected within "my Sky". The usability of the Virgin Media app doesn't seem as good as the Sky+ app. When scrolling down to find a channel it is very easy to press too hard and select a preceding channel, opening its listings. Closing this reverts back to the top of the channel list. Repeat. It's taken me several attempts to be able to set up recordings on channels half way down the list because of this. Perhaps the UI designers can have a look at how Sky do it.

I've had similar problems. It's too easy to select the wrong programme, and when you do, it can take a while to get back to the right screen. I also frequently have to re-enter my Tivo details.

Still, it doesn't even work on iOS 6.

I use the generic tvguide on my iPad and it seems to work very well. I can record channels and even change channels from the app.

Is this different to the app I originally reference? If so, not seen it.

Re: Virgin TV Guide iOS app

He means the one at http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/tv-gu...480166366?mt=8 .

It's worth noting that while that app seems reliable (certainly more so than the official one), it's not an official VM app, so if you have problems, you need to talk to the company responsible for it..
