Safety reason they probably blow it up. You wonder if they might disable it turn it into momunument to those who lost there lives to these horrid machines. However its whether the knowhow the dangers of disabling unstable bombs might outweigh what to do with it. Amazing story of the old fella when 15 went out with copper drew it during the war. The other people used too tie boats onto it
