Does anybody else think that it's gone seriously downhill since its sale to Trinity Mirror?

I was researching a memorial to the architect who designed our apartment block. The MEN page which turned up had an embedded ad for calculating compensation. How crass & insensitive...

In general regional newspapers have got worse because of declining ad revenue and those newspapers becoming part of major groups
