Orange San Francisco II works fine for me. Can't see any reason to pay more than £100 on a phone. You can spend more money but you really would be wasting it.

I was going to buy a HTC phone and then use a sim only contract, which are very good. However when I did the sums, it was cheaper for me to opt for a free HTC on the £10.5/month tariff. as it basically works out just over £120 a year with the service included!
