On demand fault

I've been trying to watch the first series of Mad Dogs on my Tivo 'on demand' and it keeps coming up with error code 6105. So I looked on line, and it came up with this:

Service Disruption
a loss of Video On Demand service
Reported on: Fri 03 Feb 2012, 04:21 AM
Estimated fix time: Fri 10 Feb 2012, 12:08 PM
Fault reference: F001878809

Does anyone have any more news on this, as it is a long time to sort out a fault on the network?

Re: On demand fault

It's an outage affecting VOD in half of the Luton area and is being treated as a high priority. I think someone has entered the wrong estimated fix time. (Not that you ever really know how long these things will take).

Thanks for that.

Any idea on the usual time to fix these faults?

A Fault can take anywhere from minutes if it is relatively easy to fix to days if its quite complex, also if parts need to be ordered this will need to be factored in. The fault in Luton was cleared this morning.

Thanks.

I did try it quickly this morning, and it appeared to be working.
