The dog ate my remote

Hes always taken a fancy too it. And unfortuntley, five mins alone with it has resulted in near destruction. He carefully aimed for the top end. Resulting in damage to all the 'important' buttons and the sensor. Are these costly to replace?

You ring and do not mention the dog, just say no to every test using the remote but yes to any involving using the TIVO box buttons and they will send a new one.

Just think you have a two in one remote now. Just press the dog and he can change channels for you. What more would you want

Re: The dog ate my remote

I stood on mine, I was completely honest- no tests done just sent a new one out for free. I changed to tivo a week later so now have two for the tele upstairs instead
Yes I still lose the remote!
