Happy New Year
2011 is nearly over and another year is due to start, But 2011 has been a year when we would like to forget.
I hope and pray that some of the unlucky people that have lost there jobs have had a good xmas and hopefully have employment lined up for new year.
I hope and pray that people that are ill at this time of year are with there loved so that there pain is soothed by there loved ones being with them.
I hope and pray that people that are in heavy debt, get help instead of being pestered by loan sharks over how much to pay and that they cannot afford to pay the debt.
I hope and pray that we look after our neighbours no matter what there race or religion or political views.
Lets hope and pray that tonight when people go out and enjoy themself, and bring in the New Year in a happy mood.

Re: Happy New Year
Gord blimey Arfur! (well said)
Happy New Year to one & all. Lets hope 2012 brings us all good health, happiness & above all some humility.
Spend a moment to think of those less fortunate than ourselves & spend some time to do something good in 2012.
Best wishes all & have a good one tonight

Re: Happy New Year
2011 was the year our new B&B business took off. It was the year we realised we had the means to more than double our capacity in time for 2012. It was the year we realised we could take dozens of bookings for next year, before the current year was even over. We learned how much fun, how fulfilling, it is to prepare a peaceful space for guests in our house and send them on their way with a good breakfast inside them. It was the year we realised that we really, really could do what we always hoped one day we could do.
Our children grew another year older and lovelier.
Yes, there were sad times, but through them we grew stronger.
For us, 2011 has been a great year. We're really looking forward to 2012.
My prayer is that 2012 is as fulfilling an experience for all of you and yours as 2011 was for me and mine.
