Forward Path Attenuators

Does anyone know of a supplier for the Technetix forward path attenuators? Technetix list them all out of stock on their website. I could do with a 15 dB and a 20 dB one.

I see some on ebay but mainly 6 dB

There are plenty of standard ones, but they attenuate both forward and return paths.

Just out of interest why not??, when we had it installed the installer chained 2 together on the back of our hub! (in all honesty it struggles to stand up with the weight on the back of it).

Cheers

Of course you can chain them together. No reason not to.

Re: Forward Path Attenuators

I am also looking for a 15db one... The current 10 + 6db coupled with the cables weight is a bit too much for my modem and I also cannot hide it out of side because of the 2 attenuators my modem seems to have got an erection.

Re: Forward Path Attenuators

You can put them on the other end of the coax - into the wall socket. I've not seen a 15 dB forward path attenuator; only 3, 6 & 10 dB.

Only if it takes the input power below the optimum range.
