Upload speed test

Hi guys
I'm on 50 meg in croydon so still waiting for the upload upgrade.
Anyway, speedtest.net always gives me an upload speed of between 0.7 and 0.8mbps.

However when I upload on utorrent (which I only tried as a test) I can upload consistently at 190KB/s which equates to about 1.5mbps as I should be getting.

So here's the question. Which is correct? And what is the best way to test upload speed?

Re: Upload speed test

Each test is correct for what you are testing too - It doesn't really mean you are maxing out your link on either.

All your results really tell your is that testing on speedtest.net is not accurate

Best way to test is multiple FTP's to a known server, or using something like IPERF or similar to test your link
