Time is nearly upon us
It is nearly the festive season - yet again, and for those that can afford it, it will be a busy one.
But think of one thing, crooks and scammers will be having a field day when you are out of the house if you leave doors open or the windows, and OAPs will be at there most vulnerable, each festive period we get *******s calling and preying on there elderly more than most.
Make sure that when you leave the house, be sure of where your valuables are, don't leave anything that can be seen, lap tops, mobile phones etc
Keep an eye on your neighbours, especially if they are elderly, if you see someone go to an elderly person's house, don't question yourself, go an ask.
OAPs are proud people, and might resent it, but remember one thing, you might see them the following day and they might say thank you.
I get sick to death of reading in the media, where *******s have broken into someones house and pinch there stuff, its time we fought back.
Nine times out of ten if you are in the street, you may see someone getting attacked, go and help, don't just stand around and look.
Hopefully we can help prevent this terrible thing happening, then maybe everyone will have a great festive period (and yes l know its November)

From the title I thought this thread was written in the pub just before the bell was about to be rung.

Well considering the font is different to normal i would say it might be a copy and paste
Still good points considering the time of year

Didn't think of that....
Just chucked it into Google and it came up with one hit - us.
Possible words from the keyboard of Arthur but still could be a C+P. Perhaps he's found the font button??
...and shouldn't this be in Lifestyle? Not exactly Current Affaris is it?

Re: Time is nearly upon us
Nice post Arthur. I think what you say is something we all should consider and not just at this time of year.
I know the Guys joke about your lack of links at times but I think that you are, what we all probably hope for, a good neighbour and someone who cares for others happiness and safety.

Sounds like a very nice neighborhood indeed, The sort of place you need to wear body armour.
