iCloud Error

I've been trying to sign into the iCloud Control Panel for Windows since iOS 5 launched and have not been able to, it says "You can't sign in because of a server error" - There is no reported issues on status page, anyone know what could be wrong?

Probably the amount of new users signing in or attempting to has overloaded the system, I would try again later today or maybe tomorrow when the demand will be a little less.

Re: iCloud Error

I had problems getting into the MobileMe - iCloud transfer service yesterday, but no issues actually using email or calendars since. I agree with kingofthedead, it is almost certainly congestion due to it having just been rolled out.

Thanks a lot. One of the posts in that thread fixed my problem.

For anyone else who may find themself with this issue, this is what fixed it for me:

1) Click on Start
2) Type cmd and press enter
you will see a new window
3) type "netsh winsock reset"
4) restart the machine
