Thousands of children in England are being horrifically abused by gangs, the deputy children's commissioner has said, as she launches an inquiry.
Current estimates say up to 10,000 children could be affected by the sexual abuse, but it is feared the true figure could be much higher.
Although any children getting abused is terrible, I'm not sure how you can issue a report saying that as a headline, and then say there is no reliable data

or how you can publish a strategy for dealing with an issue the scope of which you don't fully understand?

Totally agree Ben ,issues like child abuse need adressing with the utmost care using acurate and reliable information otherwise more harm than good can be done such as the Cleveland child abuse scandal
