Friend of mine just had 30mb installed and was just after the all clear. Since he joined VM, not many people can hear him properly in an Xbox live party. You can hear him talking, but the voice is choppy and breaks up. Was just very odd timing as you could hear him clearly when he was with his old provider. Could be an issue with the mic, but I'm not so sure.

I setted up the thinkbroadband monitor last night for him so he can keep on his net that way.

It'll most likely be upstream congestion particularly if it's a student area.
