September 2011

This is the September 2011 edition of the HD Channel Poll maintained by yours truly.

As there were no HD channel launches in August, the poll has be pushed forward to include September upcoming HD releases on other platforms.

Multiple votes are allowed.
Please state your reasons for the choice(s).

Summary of July 2011 votes:
Sky Atlantic HD was the favoured amongst the people who were polled and received the largest number of votes at 48.
This was followed by History HD (12) and Sky Sports 3 HD (11).

Out of the top 3, two of the channels are owned by competitor Sky.
Each channel in the top 3 has a separate category. Sky Sports 3 HD being Sports, Sky Atlantic HD being entertainment and History HD being knowledge/factual.

You may also discuss the previous results here, but please do not go off-topic / argue. Please be civil and understand that certain carriage agreements must be made before a channel (or channels) is (or are) made available on the Virgin Media Platform.

Sky Atlantic HD again, hell, I'll take it in SD, just get it, VM, along with Sky Atlantic shows On Demand to catch up on the first season of all those programmes we've missed.
