Mother gives 7 year old breast enlargement voucher.
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/odd/news...b-voucher.html
50 year old Sarah Bulge has given her daughter a £6,000 voucher for breast enlargement for her 7th Birthday.
She also bought her daughter a computer, a pink crystal ring and necklace set and a £4,000 spa break.
Her daughter spent the day celebrating her birthday with her friends, having a manicure, pedicure, drinking fake champagne and eating a £250 birthday cake.
What sort of message is this giving to a 7 year old? First, it's giving them the message that it's OK to expect £10,000 presents every year (my cousin has this problem, although her daughters are only expecting £1,000 presents, and yes, I consider them spoiled).
Second, it's giving that 7 year the message that natural looks are not good enough, that you need surgery to look good. While I admit that some surgeons do very good plastic surgery that can really improve looks, surgery often isn't the right answer if you aren't happy.

Re: Mother gives 7 year old breast enlargement.
This woman is a self-publicist, who did the same thing last year (teaching her then 6 year old daughter how to pole dance - Sun )
She's not doing for the child, she's doing it for the publicity for herself - she is alleged to have spend half a million pounds on plastic surgery on herself.

Title updated, since it was rather misleading.

Hmm. So half a million quid doesn't cure ugliness.
