Rentals on TiVo/V+

If you have TiVo & a V+HD box and you purchase a Film Flex rental through the TiVo box, would it be available to also watch on the V+HD box, as it would be if you had two V+HD boxes?

Re: Rentals on TiVo/V+

Whenever I rented a filmflex movie when I had two V+ boxes I was only ever able to access that movie on the box it was rented on - never through the additional box - so I would think it would be the same with the TiVo/V+ setup. I could be wrong as it's been a while since I rented, so that may have changed, but to my memory the rental was associated only with the box it was rented on.

Question Re: Rentals on TiVo/V+

An interesting question would be will TiVo unlock the potential of rentals from other firms eg LoveFilm on your box or does VM prefer a closed rental Market namely FilmFlex?

Re: Rentals on TiVo/V+

I've just answered my own question by searching the forums (searching before posting does work!! ). Actually, I do remember the original post, but had forgotten that I had then asked the question about TiVo in that thread.

For those interested....

Cindy Rose from VM has already said that having things like lovefilm along with Filmflex is not a problem and will be actively encouraged if the deal is right.
