Brings back memories of a news article I happened to read back the early 1970's, where somewhere in south Australia a 50 acre field of mature cannabis plants were discovered by the "authorities" and as no one could be identified as the owner they decided to set it alight in order to deal with the problem.
Unfortunately the "authorities" hadn't considered the factor of the wind direction once they'd flamed the field and the smoke (now thick and heavy) began to quickly drift into the nearby town.
As I recall reading everyone succumbed and subsequently the whole town including the "authorities" and the medical centre were absolutely stoned for several hours

Luckilly (or not) after the effects had worn off it was reported that no-one was adversely affected and all made a recovery.
What one would call a shared experience - MAN!
