current VM Tv/BB and Phone customer registered with Virgin mobile to take advantage of the £5 rolling contract offer to existing customers.
Im a light call user, saving myself a fiver a month and getting 3000 texts pm so good-oh.
Right..
Just called my old Mobile provider and got my Port Authentication Code.
No problems though wierdly all of a sudden I've been paying for the previous month on each billing date...despite paying in advance when I started the contract???
This means that I will be billed a final £10 monthly charge when the current cycle ends on the 8th April..and as long as I transfer over to VM by the 8th I will not be billed for another month.
My latest payment was on the 22nd March about a week ago.
Some advice please?
Initial contract phoned 15 April..where I paid £10 up front.
The tenner taken 15th April was for "partial service" 15th April - 22nd April, when the proper billing cycle kicked in.
On 22nd April (Normal Billing Date) I was billed for another £10
If Im being told now that I was being billed for previous dates mobile usage, then how does the first ten quid I paid reconcile with that...if its for service 15 April-22nd April??
My second bill (on the 22nd April) surely couldnt have been for the previous month as I wasnt there for the full month AND I had already paid £10 on the 15th?
I cnat get access to my online Bill just now, but it seems theres something wrong with the start of my contract billing?
I will scour the details when I get to check my first couple of bills with usage dates later.
So anyways...
I want to transfer my old number over to VM...so whats to be done next?
Will VM be notified of the number, is it something I have to contact them about...etc.
