Virgin media 20>30
Right, just been on the phone to virgin media enquring about upgrading my BB.
I currently am on the VIP20 package with 3 extra V boxes
This comes to a total of £100 ish
I rang up and asked if they could do any better deals, mainly upgrade me to 30Mb, bear in mind i have been with them for about 5 years, always payed bills etc, and they said that I'm on a fantastic deal!,
Lets recap, the same for new customers would be £105 PM with 30Mb BB, im paying £100 for 20Mb.
The woman on the line told me it would be £5 extra a month for 30Mb and and extra £30 activation
So much for treating your customer right

Re: Virgin media 20>30
So they offered you the same deal as a new customer and you're not happy ?
Sounds like a fair deal to me, I would expect you to be able to get the £30 refunded if you speak to the right person, due to the amount you spend, but I'm not in sales or customer care..

It doesn't sound like a good deal to me, after all the thousands they've made out of me already, they could at least cut me some slack and nock a bit off.
And I would go for VIP50, but it'll clock in at over £115, in my opinion the extra tenner doesn't justify the 30mb extra speed/no stm, ill just download outside peak hours anyway
