Changing PC after Superhub installed
Tomorrow, I'm having the superhub installed after upgrading from 20mb and the old modem.
My pc has died and i'm using an old one at the moment until I sort out a new one, so the superhub will be installed on my old setup.
My Q is, When I get the new computer, how easy is it going to be to swap the superhub onto the new setup?
Thanks

Re: Changing PC after Superhub installed
Once the superhub is set up, it just works like a normal router. You can connect your new kit to it with an ethernet cable or by wireless without any problems

Re: Changing PC after Superhub installed
The Superhub is exactly the same as a router in respect that you can just plug and play without rebooting the Superhub it will just work once the PC is connected.

Re: Changing PC after Superhub installed
i think he was getting confused with that stupid software they make you install
you only have to install it once (you dont even have to do that, but they make you do it anyway)

Superhub software I think?!
When the engineer came to our house, he said he had to install the Software on the laptop so he could Register the Hub over the internet.
I just let him get on with it, they're the experts...

The was nothing that I had to do with mine and no updates and the is no requirement to download Virgin Security or even set up a Virginmedia email address, just interested in what software was involved.

I have Virginmediahub.exe on my PC but chose not to run it.
Try searching for it as it should be there.

Neither did I.
I just searched, there is no virginmediahub.exe on my system.
A bit of googling reveals it is connected with the virgin media security program, another piece of rubbish I would not knowingly let anywhere near any of my PC's.
