Re: Looking for a free pdf printer that allows comments

I'll give it a try. I've tried a free pdf printers but you have to pay for their vesion which allowsy ou to add comments. I'm not looking at editing the full pdf only adding comments as I'm busy studying and find it usefuly to add the comments/stickies in the pdf file.

I think the pdf file has to have "add comments" enabled else you cannot. I just looked at foxit and it just looks like the reader is free else the rest is trial for 30days which my course is longer than 30 days and your have to pay for addons.

Re: Looking for a free pdf printer that allows comments

Try Nitro PDF. I think the trial is fully functional, so far I have not found anything it can't do. rotate delete insert specific pages, split join documents add comments, mark up, create approved stamps it will even allow you to cut and paste from a PDF into word or create JPG from images as long as the original is not protected.

http://www.nitropdf.com/index_new.htm

You can even add text into a PDF when it was not originally a form. I am sure they do a free and cheap version.

Yes I'm a fan but I didn't pay for it

The full version is not free but is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than the equivalent ADOBE product.

Hope this helps

You might like to give PDf Xchange from Tracker a go
http://www.tracker-software.com/prod...xchange-viewer

The FREE version of the PDF-XChange Viewer may be used without limitation for Private, Commercial, Government and all uses, provided it is not -: incorporated or distributed for profit/commercial gain with other software or media distribution of any type - without first gaining permission. Software Developers SDK available for licensing in 3rd party software products etc

Free version does support the commenting you are looking for.
