Government credit cards used to buy doughnuts

Luxury hotels, doughnuts, and even flying lessons are among the items paid for using Government credit cards since the coalition came to power.

So much for "We are all in this together" as Cameron stated!

Re: Government credit cards used to buy doughnuts

To be honest, I didn't see that much on that list that raised an eyebrow.

It seems perfectly normal to me to provide food if meetings run over and it's getting late.

That's what you'd expect in a private company (but you don't hear about it much). Why should public government be different?

Im also worried at ex prime minister seems to be on the troughing game. Did'nt take long for them to get on the the gravy train have they got enough from there generous payouts for being ex leaders.

If people saw what MPs have claimed for they would poop.

I've seen uncensored MPs expenses, and I would have never been able to claim for on expenses, I cannot say what due to a non disclousre agreement.

I suppose the itunes sounds dodgy.

Flying lessons:

Quote:
A DfT spokeswoman said: ''A valid pilot's licence is required by a number of inspectors employed by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch as part of their work. This requires regular training to ensure these licences remain up-to-date.''
Orthopedic Equipment from posturite. Purveyors of Ergnomic Office furniture.

Outrageous. How dare they order furniture for an office
