The original Celebrity. Famous for 9 marriages and a great raconteur and the ability to fudge her age..Truly a character.

Saying that she must be in her 90s and has done very well age wise.

A true Star unlike many of present day stars.. Sad to think she is so poorly.

It's a shame that most will remember her for slapping the motorcyucle cop rather than her movies

Well I very carefully didn't mention that.I tend to remember her from her appearances on chat shows rather than her films.

Sadly can't recall seeing any of them recently..

I guess people just go out of fashion.

Yes and she did go out of fashion, I find that actress's when they reach a certain age vanish of the big screen and then off the small screen no matter how good of a actress they are. Looks in Hollywood mean everything unless you play a evil character.

Yup that be me, soon as I saw the thread I thought "slap a chip" but I do remember her for other things tho, very good innings, 93 is a fine age to shuffle off.
