Re: No Sound BBC HD

Sky had a momentary loss of sound on BBC One HD at that time, came back again after a couple of seconds.

Re: No Sound BBC HD

Slightly off topic, but I notice for some reason the sound is always less on the HD channels than the normal channels and I have to turn the volume up for the HD channels. Does anyone else find this?

Re: No Sound BBC HD

Opposite here, we have to turn the volume down on HD via Sky.

It's to do with 5.1 sound on the HD channels as this has a greater range of sound... this is always lower, same as DVD players/Blu-ray etc.

Sky have artificially increased the sound levels on their platform to a similar level of SD channels. although some are saying it's now much higher
