Maybe I'm the only one, but I actually feel sorry for her.
There was a big picture in the Mirror this morning of the same one linked above.

Anyone else out there who actually likes the silly girl?

I think she is a victim of her own success. I do like her and think she can be sexy as hell. Drink and drugs when you are that famous seems to be all to common an escape

I think she probably had the same problem a lot of famous people had.

She had a couple of big (ish) films, and was given an awful lot of money suddenly. She was also given very little to spend it on. Two factors that contribute to getting a crowd of people who never say no to you.

Another factor is that there is a large and thriving drug industry in Hollywood (caused mainly by the fact that in the 40s, 50s and some extent the 60s, the studios seemingly encouraged drug use as it helped keep their stars under control).

These three have combined on many occasions to cause young stars to fall into a life of drugs. Some get out of it (Carrie Fisher, Kirstie Alley), but a lot don't.

I hope Lindsay is one who does. She can be an attractive girl and I suspect she could be a good actress.
