Angry Sunburn baby 'seriously injured'

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/8703596.stm

I'm sorry but this so called parent need looking into.

I guess a sun tan is more important than her baby.

In sunny weather my sister always takes sun tan lotion with her and puts it on her kids.

When they were babies the did NOT under any circumstances take them out in the sun uncovered.

Absolutely unforgiveable.

The mother needs sterilising.

Re: Sunburn baby 'seriously injured'

Thick muppets like this make me sick , the poor child really must be in so much pain , the mother needs some of the same pain for what she has done , its not like she didn't know what the sun can do we have been told for countless years for gods sake :-(

Re: Sunburn baby 'seriously injured'

This is a sad story, everyone knows how quick vunerable people can burn in strong sunlight.

Since I am so fair, I only take minutes to burn in the sun and have suffered huge blisters in the past throung my own foolishness.

The parents here need, well, re educating on this matter in the very least. A good spell on a sunbed for several hours should do it.

Re: Sunburn baby 'seriously injured'

Well first thing to say it's let's all pray that the little one pulls through this awful experience. As for the mother, well, it's hard to understand how anyone could allow such a thing to happen to such a small and helpless child.

Re: Sunburn baby 'seriously injured'

29 isn't that young ,you would expect this sort of imbecilic behaviour from teenage mothers
doesn't say in the article if anyone is considering pressing charges ,but they should imo

Hopefully being so young the skin might heal better.

I've heard that on young children scars can disapear.

The trouble with the tabloids is that they often start the bandwagon rolling by printing what people want, and thats not necessarily the truth or the whole story.

The mum who left her baby to suffer horrific sunburn on Brighton beach can be revealed for the first time *today. Anna Baboy, 29, says she is "mortified", and only took five-month-old Cosmo Wilson for a day trip to build his first sandcastle.

Re: Sunburn baby 'seriously injured'

A 5 month old can barely sit on his own let alone handle a spade and bucket.

Some people don't deserve children, I don't think they appreciate what a blessing having a child actually is

Re: Sunburn baby 'seriously injured'

lets hope this has been a wake up call to her .
she said she only had one can of lager ,she was in charge of a baby ,she shouldn't have had any imo

"It was a moment of madness" ,when you are in charge of children you cannot afford moments of madness ,things can happen to children easily enough without parents having "moments of madness"

I don't believe she is a totally bad parent ,i just think some education in the responsibility of having children is required
