hi all im new to this , i have just purchased a acer timeline with intergrated web cam, i bought this because i work away and i keep in touch using skype, i am having trouble when i test skype, it keep giving me a message saying problem with recording device, any help will be much appreciated, thanks

check the options, make sure the recording device for skype is the microphone. It's possibly not set as the default audio source so it errors because it's not picking up audio.

Select Tools then select Options then select Audio Settings.

as a tip for future reference, pressing F1 on the keyboard from within a programme will bring up its Help resource.
