At least six children have been hacked to death in north-western China in the latest in a series of violent attacks on schools, state media report.
Some 20 others were injured after the attack in Hanzhong city in Shaanxi province, Xinhua news agency reported.
The children were all thought to be under the age of six, and one teacher is also said to have been killed.
For a country that (supposedly) traditionally has a low crime rate this does seem a worrying new trend..

Re: China children 'hacked to death' in new school attack
I read this Mrs J with tears in my eyes.
I always think that i can never be more shocked at a news report but then the next one comes along.
My Grand Daughter is six years old and i always think of her when i read something like this. How comes there are so many ******* evil people in the world today with so little regard to life?
