Where is Sophos picking up the malware, is it in an executable or in memory?

Have you tried scanning with other software, even an online scan, Kasperskys is down so maybe try Trend Micro http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

p.s. Have you tried a Safe-Mode scan?

No I pick what I open.

Have no idea were its being found first I know is a message saying its found & dealt with it. Its been happening for about 10 days now. really thought I would not have a problem at these sites / Email my guess is Email. Will look more closely next time message comes up.

Not tried anything, Sorry thought I had made it clear the "problem" is being dealt with every time by Sophos ( for what it costs it should ) Just wondering if I can find out were its coming from to steer clear of it.

Re: Mal ware from here, they or any Email ?

If it keeps coming back it could be that it isn`t removing/quarantining it fully. Try a scan in Safe-mode where hopefully it will be inactive.

Here is some Sophos data on removing generic detections http://www.sophos.com/support/disinf.../malfiles.html

My bet is on Email as well, some `breaking news`

Good luck...

there will be some dodgy start up or reg entry. Best bet would be for you to post a hijackthis log on theirs or malwarebytes forums
