Migration Problem

I use Outlook 07 (with blueyonder) and prior to the migration everthing worked fine and I got my emails sent to both my home computer and Blackberry no problems whatsoever.

Now there is no end of problems - they only go to rhe Blackberry unless I am on line at home - then they just go to the home computer and sometimes not the B berry.

I've been on the help pages on the VM website and have deleted the Outlook account and re instated using `recent' mode in the email set up etc - but its still no good - no difference.

I have phoned the help line on a few occasions but they say they are not trained on outlook and so cannot help me.

Is there some kind soul out there who could suggest a remedy. I`m not a techy type really and if there is some type of fix - I probably would need a detailed description etc. I was able to use the VM help page to set up the blueyonder email - but it was a major challence if you see what I mean !!!

Re: Migration Problem

When you say MIGRATION.. do you mean migration to googlemail? If so then you might wish to either use Imap (mail is left on the server and you dynamicly access mail when needed so more than one device can see the mail) or use the forwarding tools in googlemail

Re: Migration Problem

The outlook account has to be associated with IMAP instead of POP, you can't run both on the same account in outlook..

That'll mean creating a new IMAP account in putlook and transferring all the mail into that folder

Re: Migration Problem

I put recent in front of the username on the server tab and it did not work. I tried to send myself an email from a different computer and it came back address not known.
