Free VM landline to VM mobile calls

http://pressoffice.virginmedia.com/p...040&highlight=

Just seen this on the press releases.

Well done Virgin, I can see how this could potentially boost the mobile platform profits by new subscribers but nevertheless its another good deal.

Re: Free VM landline to VM mobile calls

Just out of interest - if you have a ported number (i.e. number that was originally Orange and has now been ported to Virgin Mobile) will that also be free?

I know that some phone charging structures are based on the number called, and can't cope with ported numbers.

Re: Free VM landline to VM mobile calls

I would assume so but I'm checking lol

Oh, and to make clear, the free calls apply for all customers who pay their line rental to VM - including National ADSL customers

Their sweetener worked. You all missed the 9% increase in line rental to pay for it.

Re: Free VM landline to VM mobile calls

Thats not too bad. 99p is hardly going to make a difference if you take advantage of the free calls.
