No terrestrial
I have been able to receive channels BBC 1 & 2. ITV, CH 4 and CH 5 on 1 -5 via a bypass on the STB. Up to last week I lost BBC 2 AND cH 5, and now all the other channels have gone. I know the analogue signal is eventually going to be turned off but in my region, Meridian, it's not supposed to be until 2012. Whats happened to the analogue signal?

All the analogue channels are being turned off on the cable service by next spring. That is probably why your channels have ceased to work.

They would've wrote to all analogue cable customers informing them of the switch off a while ago

If you were an analogue subscriber, you would have had a letter. However provision of analogue to non-subscribers has been patchy at best for a great many years now. Many digital STBs don't even have a pass-thru. I suspect they decided there were too few people in your position for it to be cost effective to send a mailing (especially as they're not earning any revenue off your use of the pass-thru).

It hasn't been official supported for some time now. The analogue has to go to make room for new services such as more HD channels and VOD. HTH
