Hope someone can help...

Hello I'm Godwin, I'm new to the forum.

I'm hoping someone will be able to help with a problem I have. Up until yesterday my DVD/Video recorder worked perfectly fine with my VBox, last night I discovered I was no longer able to record. It was connected by SCART, so I tried three more SCART leads, no signal. I've tried S Video, no signal and RF....again no joy.

I'm still able to watch DVD's and copy from VHS to DVD, but I can't record from VBox...is it just broke or is there anything else I can do?

Thanks for any help.

I'm assuming you are using the VCR scart on the V Box to record from. Have you tried connecting this to the TV. If you get sound but no picture by doing this then the V Box is faulty. If as you say there is no RF output either its likely the PAL encoder is knackered. Give faults a call on 151 and they will replace the box.

Hello nodrogd, thanks for the reply.

I have tried to work an old Sky+ box through the DVD as well, and that doesn't work either, I've tried what you suggested and the VBox seems to work fine, I guess I'll probably just have to put it down to a loss.
