Unhappy Internet Explorer 8 problem

My name is Therezinha, I live in the southwest of US, in Arizona. Have been taking care of a couple of social internet sites via an organization called OrgSites, for more than a couple of years.
Lately, after the release of Internet Explorer 8, I have found that this new program DOES NOT allow me to get into the boxes where I can get either "image codes" or even "file codes". It immediately informs me that I am not registered.
I am not sure if it is an Explorer 8 problem, or an OrgSite problem. I have written to OrgSites.com numerous times, with no replies. They used to reply in the past, but have not done so for the couple of months that I have been trying.
My dilema is that I cannot update my computer because of this problem. It's OK not to update right now, but what if I get to the poing that I have to update?
Mostly I really would like to communicate with OrgSites. Does anyone know of an email address, internet site, or even telephone number where they can be reached?
Thank you, thank you anyone with a word of encouragement. Therezinha

Hi and Welcome to the forum

Have you tried compatibility view as that seems to cure most problems with IE8 (or you could simply install another browser like firefox)

Re: Internet Explorer 8 problem

As Kymmy says try Compatibility view just click this link for instructions on how to access it http://www.microsoft.com/windows/int...es/easier.aspx

Or give Firefox a try download link here http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/

Re: Internet Explorer 8 problem

Thank you both, Kymmy and Moldova. I am still hoping that someone will find me a way to get in touch with OrgSites so I can question them as well. But thanks for now, I'll try the compatibility bit before going for Firefox. Regards, T.

Re: Internet Explorer 8 problem

One option is to uninstall then reinstall IE8, this has helped other people in similar situations.
Hope this helps!
