MTU setting

Hello.
Cable newbie here. Couple of queries about the supplied netgear router WGR614V9. The MTU is pre-set at 1500. The firmware is V1.0.11_1.0.1VGUK.
Are these OK?

1500 is the usual setting for cable yes.

Unless ur having connection issues it shouldnt be bothered with.
