Pace box problem

Hi,

I have a Pace box (4000 series I think) that has a fault. The problem is the box has kept locking up the last few days which been solved with a reboot, but now on the boxes LED display I just have vertical segments lit up. No amount of rebooting, leaving switched off etc. seems to bring the box back to life. Below is what the display looks like:

I guess I know the answer that it is the box that needs replacing but I just thought I'd check to make sure that there isn't anything I can do to bring the box back to life seeing as I can't get an engineer out until Wednesday evening!

Re: Pace box problem

That's a very dead box. If letting it cool down doesn't help, you are stuck I'm afraid. It needs replacing.

Re: Pace box problem

ta! it seems to have sorted itself for the time being...left it off for a while, switched it back on again and about 10-20 mins later it was working!? I think until the engineer comes out I'll be switching it off when not in use though...

...hopefully it will keep working while strictly is on tonight or the missus won't be happy ;o)
